Viewer discretion advised due to possible graphic content. A Rajasthani farmer who hanged himself at an AAP rally on Wednesday to protest against the government’s land bill is dead, doctors said. Farmer suicides is an issue of great concern in recent years. Doctors at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital said that the farmer, identified as Gajender Singh (41) from Nangal village of Dausa district in Rajasthan, was brought dead from the site of the rally where he hanged himself from a tree. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the farmer’s suicide saying incident was saddening and it has shattered the whole nation. At no point must the hardworking farmer think he is alone.
