The iconic Asiad or Asian Games of 1982 logo image comes from the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. With the buildings of modern India as a backdrop, and The Park Hotel New Delhi as well, Jantar Mantar sits comfortably in its location off Connaught Circus, now more of a tourist attraction than an observatory. Jai Prakash Yantra at Jantar Mantar. Inside the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, an astronomical clock comprising of large structures built in the 1700's. It is now a tourist attraction in India's capital city. The Misra Yantra or the heart-shaped structure is surrounded by other structures to the left, the right, the south, and the north.
