Immediately after the tsunami, the beaches of the Andamans were littered with debris, silt, ocean sediment, driftwood and junk and flotsam of various kinds. The Andaman and Nicobar islands suffered heavy damage and the marine eco-system was terribly affected. Animal droppings mark the entry to this little beach in the Andaman and Nicobar islands.
