From an aerial view, the Shillong Golf Courses in Meghalaya are situated among the undulating hills and vibrant greenery typical of the area. The angular roofs and organised layout of the course are prominent against the surrounding natural beauty. When viewed from above, the expansive green fairways contrast sharply with the darker hues of the tree cover. Roads and buildings at the peripheries of the course highlight that this green space is almost like a natural enclave within the urban outskirts. Perched at an elevation of 4,750 feet above sea level, it is recognised as the highest golf course in Asia.
