Thamel in Nepal, Kathmandu is heaven for tourists visiting the city. In one such shop, a shopkeeper introduces as Shri Krishna Thapaliya.He says, "This is my shop.Many tourists used to visit Thamel before but the number of tourists visiting this year 2011 has lessened.This is a tourist market but since eight months less number of tourists visits this place. Nepal has 75 districts and Kathmandu is one of them." He shows a recycled bag made in Nepal which was used to keep rice before. Tourists like the bag a lot. He says,"sometimes I charge Rs1,200 and Rs700-800." Then he shows bag which is used by both men and women and is made in Nepal.Some of these products are sold at wholesale and some at retail prices.
