Tangkhul Naga folk dance at Tamchon Football Tournament 2018 in capital's Ambedkar Stadium. The troupe belongs to village Phalee of Ukhrul district, Manipur. The people of different villages of Ukhrul District of Manipur perform Pheizak (dance). The style of Pheizak differs from village to village but the theme remains more or less the same. The cultural heritage of the Tangkhuls, handed down through the ages by their forefathers portrays the values of simplicity, sincerity, bravery, co-operation, a self-sufficient and harmonious life. This dance is made fascinating by its colourful costumes, a variation of notes of purling from act to act and the nimble movements of legs and hands.
