Several members of the RSS's right-wing lead a protest march from the victim’s residence to the Commercial police station. The protesters were demanding the quick arrest of the people involved in the gruesome murder. “The police is not doing its duty. More than 12 hours have passed and police had yet not been able to any of the attackers,” said a BJP activist protesting. The activists also targeted the police stating that the BJP and RSS workers are attacked frequently on directions of rival political parties in the state but police fail to take actions against the perpetrators.
