One of the most popular Tibetan monasteries is Tengboche monastery located in Khumbu region in eastern Nepal. The beautiful Tengboche monastery is situated at an altitude of 3,867 meters from the sea level. The extraordinary monastery represents itself the largest monastery in Khumbu region, Sagarmatha zone.
