Indian Athlete Seema Antil wins the Bronze medal in the Discus throw during Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi. Seema Antil threw 62.60 metres, her best in more than seven years, to reach the 'A' qualification standard for the London Olympics. The 28-year-old Haryana athlete opened with a 62.60m, fouled the next and then passed her four subsequent attempts. A World junior championship bronze medallist in 2002, Seema was the National record holder at 64.64m, till it was broken by Krishna Poonia. Seema won the silver in the 2006 Commonwealth Games and took the bronze at home in 2010 when the Indians swept the discus medals with Krishna Poonia and Harwant Kaur finishing 1-2.
