One mind, one heart, one spirit, one Asia, this is the slogan for 13th Asian Games. As the stopwatch ticks by the time has once again come for Indian sportspersons to prove their mettle in the international arena. Over three hundred sportspersons and officials constituting the Indian contingents will represent India at the Asiad being held in Bangkok this year. Despite the Asian economic crisis this year's event which begins on the 6th of December has been build as this century's last great sporting extravaganza. The Indians will be participating in 21 of the 36 disciplines and according to the Indian Olympic Association, only medal prospects are being sent.
