Thewa is a special art of jewelry making which involves embossing of intricately worked-out sheet gold on molten glass. It evolved in Pratapgarh district, Rajasthan India. Its origin dates back to the Mughal age. Surajkund Crafts Mela is an annual fair celebrated by Haryana Tourism Department to promote handicrafts items in Faridabad District, Haryana. The festival showcases the art, craft and cuisines of India. This magnificent handicraft and handloom fair is held annually. The place is setup as a typical rural marketplace displaying the rich arts and traditions of India by the skilled artisans, sculptors, weavers and craftsmen.
