Attractive and decorative camels with their respective owners in Pushkar mela. Attractive camels are for camel race, camel decoration competition and camel dance competition in Pushkar mela. Lots of people have gathered to watch the competition. The trade in cattle and camels is the main attraction for tourists and locals and happens early in the festival. One of Asia’s largest cattle fairs, local herdsmen and breeders converge at Pushkar to buy and sell camels, horses and indigenous breeds of cattle. Villagers from Rajasthan’s hinterland wait through the year to attend the festival. It is a sight to watch ordinary Rajasthanis dressed in all their finery.
