Who would imagine mountains that are over 5500 feet high in Rajasthan - the desert state? That is the height of Balahissar and Barlowgunj below Mussorie. The craggy Aravallis around Mt. Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station, are also perfect home to leopard and other Aravalli fauna. Guru Shikhar, a peak in the Arbuda Mountains of Rajasthan, is the highest point of the Aravalli Range, at 5,650 feet tall.
