After a few months of partition, Pakistan ordered Kabaili attackers to attack Kashmir with the belief that Kashmiri Muslims will appreciate their attack however it was opposite. Indian army and Kashmiri Military defeated Pakistan, however, Kashmir's 2/5th part had been taken over by Pakistan which is now called Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Shiekh Abdullah became Kashmir's first Chief Miniter and from then Kashmir became an Integral Part of India. In 1965 Pakistan tried to capture Kashmir, again a war happened and once more Kashmirs' people favoured India.
