These massively tall and bulky apple trees have a massive crop of wild apples on each of them. The apples are not plucked or harvested and grow wild in the forests of Khonoma in Nagaland, only to be eaten by wild birds and animals... But just look at the size - who has even heard of such huge apple trees, let alone seen them before? Viewer Robert Khate writes: "They are pretty safe for human consumption. It is a sub-species of the crab apple (Malus) found around the temperate zones all over the world. The locals in Nagaland make juice and wine of it.
