The scenario just before full-on war was declared between India and Pakistan in 1999. A press conference takes place where General Bikram Singh, who later went on to become the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian army, speaks about the positions occupied inside India's territory in the North by armed intruders from Pakistan. "The dialogue process can be put back on track once this aggression in vacated". People can be seen donating blood in large numbers, at various blood donation camps for blood to be sent to Indian soldiers that were injured during this war.
