Migrant workers in Telangana are sent home by train from Lingampally railway station in the state. Migrant workers are seen sitting outside the platform to board the train. The train is sent off with applauses from railway and police officers on duty. Migrant workers during the Corona Lockdown were trapped in different states with no means of livelihood and no transport to return home. The welcome change of sending them home after two months of complete lockdown came. This came after pressure from media and various concerned citizens when the reports of migrants marching home surfaced in plenty.
