Shahid Kapoor: It is a story of a young couple, and it is based on an arranged marriage, this day, these kinds of films are hardly made but Sooraj is made with a simple concept without any dramatic twist and turn or even exaggeration, it is a straight simple emotional story. Through Vivah, our director Sooraj wants to convey a simple message like 'not letting the relationships break off easily, ' Sooraji as a director, I have never met such a simple, down-to-earth director, his humility is very real and honest, and I feel lucky to have to work together with him.
