Yellow Costers or Acraea issoria are locally common butterflies in India, from Himachal Pradesh to Arunachal Pradesh and in the Northeast of India, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar. They are usually on the wing from March to December between 700 and 2,400 meters.
