Partial lunar eclipse seen on 10th December 2011, in Delhi

Seen here is the Lunar Eclipse as seen from the roof of Wilderness Films India Ltd. at Factory Road, New Delhi. It shows the Earth's umbra leaving the Moon's surface during a Lunar Eclipse. This stage is also called the Fifth Contact or U4, where there is partial eclipse and the Moon is partially visible while partially covered by the Earth's Umbra. The moon's bright white glow turned into coppery, luminescent orange as the lunar surface was completely covered by the earth's shadow during the last total lunar eclipse of this year. The 51 minute-long spectacle of the moon being eclipsed and then turning cerise was visible all over the country, including the national capital.
