One of the old world quaint French originated hand embroidery outlets in Kochi, South India. They carry on the tradition from the time the Portuguese and French were in India many centuries ago. A saree border takes one year to make, they tell us! They sell embroidery articles, table cloths, napkins, runners, dressing table sets, dinner roll cases, tray cloths, mats, lace doilies, table mats, place mats and luncheon sets. Little Queen Embroidery is situated on Synagogue Lane in Jew Town, Matancherry, Kochi and represents the work of village women as it is a unit of 'Village Women Work' as the NGO is called.
