The Natural History Museum in London houses one of the world's largest collections of natural history specimens. Its Hintze Hall lobby centers on Hope, a 128-year-old blue whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling since 2017, replacing the former Diplodocus display. The terracotta exterior features intricate architecture inspired by Romanesque and early Renaissance styles, built in 1881. The pheasant display case showcases preserved peacocks, and various other pheasant and bird species, as well as rock displays with apophyllite crystals.
