Traditional Indian religious art and wooden craftsmanship were displayed at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela. A large framed painting depicts a Hindu wedding ceremony around a sacred fire, surrounded by religious and royal figures, while intricately carved wooden panels are displayed behind it. The collection includes brightly painted wooden elements featuring Hindu deities such as Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Krishna. A large wooden sculpture depicts Heramba Ganesha, a five-headed, ten-armed form of Ganesha. The display highlights traditional woodcarving techniques, religious imagery, carved relief work, and decorative craftsmanship presented at the crafts fair.
