An official member of the construction company speaks about the golf course, he says, "The concept of the golf village was born when it was realized that there was hardly any golf course in the country. When we realize that in small countries like Thailand they have a number of courses we found that we are not able to meet the requirement of quite a few golf addicts in this country and outside the country so in the result, we decided to set up a small golf course on a 400 acres plot on Bangalore-Mysore road at 30 km. This was the blessings of the Tourist Department of Karnataka State and we have 168 acres of the golf course which was the basic requirement as decided by our designers.
