In a bid to find a solution to the Janata Dal Presidential election crisis the Supreme Court this week appointed two senior Janata Dal leaders for conducting the polls. The leaders appointed are IMB minister Mr. Jaipal Reddy and Prof. Madhur Danvarte. The court in issuing the order set aside the previous judgment by the Delhi High Court directing the Janata Dal National Executive to decide on a fresh poll schedule, venue and returning officers for conducting the party Presidential polls by 15th of July.
