A yellow JCB 3DX Eco backhoe loader clearing a green plot surrounded by tall trees, palms, banana plants and broad-leaved taro. The operator uses the front loader bucket to push aside uprooted shrubs, tangled roots, and other vegetation, exposing the red-brown soil beneath. In later scenes, the machine swings its rear excavator arm and lifts a heavy clump of earth and roots from the ground. Wider shots show local men standing along the edge of the plot and watching the land-clearing work. The JCB 3DX combines a front loader and a rear excavator arm for tasks such as digging, loading, trenching and land preparation.
