An interview with the leader of the Azad Hind Expedition Akhil Bakshi and Filmmaker Kabir Khan who made the film 'The Forgotten Army'. Akhil Bakshi: "I have been involved in a lot of adventure activities in 1994 while I was leading the expedition through central Asia and Tibet somebody asked me about my plans to do for the next expedition and he only suggested that we undertake the Azad Hind expedition so this started working in my mind. The spirit of the expedition was to acknowledge the sacrifices which were made by the soldiers of the INA and after 50 years it was only fit and proper that the younger generation of Indians born after independence acknowledge with one heart and one voice the sacrifices which were made by the INA so I think we were able to capture the spirit and refresh th
