An amazing clip of tall and colourful Tree Dahlias in Landour with Mussoorie visible in the background. Just where did the gigantic Tree Dahlias of the western Himalaya come from? They grow as tall as thirty feet at our estate here, but we have no record or precedence of such tall flowering garden escapes. They have started to grow semi-wild in the slopes below our house and no one tends to them, as they have turned to the forest for their existence. They continue to turn out brilliant colours every November and December, just before the onset of the peak of winter.
