The Assam State Pavilion at the 36th Surajkund International Crafts Mela, held in Faridabad, Haryana, in February 2023. The beautifully designed stall highlights the rich cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and sustainable handicraft traditions of Assam. The pavilion features a traditional Assamese-style structure with a thatched roof made from bamboo and grass. Prominent signage displays "ASSAM" in English and "অসম" in Assamese script, welcoming visitors to explore the state's unique artistic traditions. Decorative Gamosas, the iconic handwoven white-and-red cloths of Assam, adorn the stall and symbolize Assamese culture and hospitality.
