Cotton is a plant fibre with fluffy white fibre which is used for making garments mostly. India is the third-largest producer of cotton in the world. It also fetches a huge revenue for the national economy. The cotton is a natural plant fibre. The harvested cotton in clumps is fed into a suction pipe that leads to the machine for separating the white fibre from the seeds and the hard husks. The seeds and hard part are separated from the fluffy white balls of cotton.
