Kabir Khan: "I have not stopped making documentaries. I started out with docus. I still make documentaries. People ask me about the transition from being a docu filmmaker to a feature filmmaker. There is a separate mazaa in docus. Documentaries are the raw material for my scripts for feature films, such as Kabul Express. The incidents I saw while filming in Afghanistan came to and were utilized in my feature film. No one expects awards when one is making a film, let alone the highest award of the country - the National Award. One is naturally happy when one receives an award.
