The ubiquitous 25 paise or 50 paise bought tokens were used to purchase milk from these outlets at little vending booths across our cities, in days of yore. They survive to this day, as a testament to the workable business model of Mother Dairy! Ice creams, paneer or cottage cheese and more are all off-shoot products that sell as a result of the lure of milk sales!
