Project Pushpak under Border Road Organisation (BRO) organizes golden jubilee celebration and cultural extravaganza at Assam Rifles' ground in Aizawl. The event, filled with cultural items showcasing and special performances by some renowned talents was graced by the Pu Lal Thanhawla, Chief Minister of Mizoram as a chief guest. Lal Thanhawla, Chief Minister of Mizoram speaks about Project Pushpak. He says, "The achievement of Pushpak, I have seen, is through sheer determination, hard work, dedication and by tackling not only treacherous terrains but also managing works, which were often under trying circumstances, especially during the political turmoil of the late 60's till the end of insurgency period in the mid 80's."
