The craft centre in Tawang promotes and conserves the local art forms and handlooms. It gives the local craftsmen encouragement to continue with their trade by giving them a source of livelihood from their art. The artists work at the district Industries Centre, located a stone's throw away from the Craft Emporium where these art works are sold.
