Sanganeri Gate is a city gate located in the heart of the city. It lies right opposite to Johari Bazaar which is known for its gold and silver jewellery stores. It is one of the main gates of Jaipur and is built according to the traditional Vastu ideology. The gate was used to protect the main north-south thoroughfare, the primary axis of movement within the city.
