In the growing tribe of Indian jingle ad composers, he's considered one of the brightest talents and every year he has been adding another feather in his cap. Winner of last year's advertising in marketing magazines gold medal for the best ad jingle Delhi based composer Shantanu Moitra has won these years ENM gold medal too.Currently he is working on a fusion album with Carnatic vocalists O.S. Arun. His paintings inspired by the art of the idol makers of Bengal found him an exalted place in top-notch art galleries of the world. An exhibition of paintings by the renowned artist the late Jamini Roy opened at the Capital City Art Gallery this week. On display are sketches and tempera by the great painter.
