The Union Government drafted an agenda for the upcoming budget session of the Parliament by identifying 36 legislative bills. Many feel that the Vajpayee government which is already under heavy stress following the earthquake in Gujarat seems to be heading for another tough time working out the finance bill 2000-01. Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee earlier indicated that the burden of rebuilding the quake-hit areas have to be shared by the nation while some believe that the country should gear up to face the harsh budget that finance minister Yashwant Sinha's assurance of a happy budget would bring cheers to both the pairs and the industry.
