Climbing perch also called the 'Walking Fish' on sale in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Climbing perch is a small Asian freshwater fish of the family Anabantidae noted for its ability to live and walk about out of water. The climbing perch is an air-breathing labyrinth fish. Snakeheads are also on display. These fishes are the primary sources of protein in the diet of the majority of the population in this country.
