A pregnant Squirrel or Gilheri (Funambulus pennanti) is filmed on a terrace in South Delhi in close up. The female is filmed nibbling on scraps of roti left on the terrace. The roti looks hard and cold but the rodent needs to eat. The bulging stomach and prominent mammary glands are quite visible in the close-up.
