Indian actor Dev Anand speaks about his struggle days, he says, "I think it's come to my mind very vividly because probably the 19th of July 1943 I landed in Bombay by the then frontier mail at the Bombay Central from Lahore which is now Pakistan after my graduation from Lahore Government College and I was very young I think I was eighteen and a half years old and I came with the positive mind to be in the movies because after my graduation I applied for a commission in the Navy, those were the war days and I was rejected because my father had political leanings, my older brother had political leanings for the Congress so the British Government was not very keen to take me in and I wanted an outlet for some expression and any individual who would like to put it across for the world so I th
