Pema Choedon is from Dekyiling, Dehradun, born in 1991 in Sikkim, and stands 165 cm tall. Her hobbies are writing, working out, yoga, and dance. She has done her schooling from Tibetan Homes School, Mussoorie. After she topped the class XII Board Exams, she did her BA in English Honours from Lady Shri Ram College under Delhi University. Then she completed her Master’s Degree in English from Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2014, and then dedicated a year as a volunteer teaching English in a remote monastery in Sikkim. Pema plans to continue her studies in the field of Political Science, focusing on Tibetan issues. Her goals are to serve Tibetan society, to be a writer.
