From ancient China via the English public schools to the formation of FIFA implants, the people's game has come a long way but there was another significant step in its journey. The birth of football in Brazil came later than in Argentina or Uruguay. The first important sentence from this historical text showed that the roots of the of the Brazilian game will put down in 1994. Charles Miller a Brazilian born to English parents had been at school in England where he excelled at football and played the Southampton. He returned home to South Paulo with two footballs in his luggage only to find that no one played the game. Today Charles Miller is on it as the man who introduced football to Brazil. This is the letter written by a journalist of De Sao Paulo to his friend in Rio it is dated 1896.
