This massive Gaur here is a specimen of the largest bovine or cow family species in the world. Nearly nine feet long, five feet tall and potentially going up toe 1500 kilograms, this is one giant of an animal, also making it the tallest of wild cattle species, and larger even than the almost extinct American wild buffalo. Gaur of south Indian forests is the largest and heaviest bovine in the world!
