Water Hyacinth (Eiccornia crassipes) growing in the backwaters and lagoons of coastal Kerala, India. This noxious exotic plant has taken over many of the waterways and water bodies of India. A motor boat speeds past the camera causing a wave that comes in towards the camera and creates an interesting illusion between the water and the Water Hyacinth plants!
