Illegal construction being demolished in NDMC area of New Delhi city. workers remove an illegal roofing structure built on the second floor as this was built without authorization or a proper building plan. They unscrew the roof and remove the aluminum sheets. The walls are hammered away with mallets. A biotech and pharmacy company was functioning here in a residential area. New Delhi Municipal Corporation or NDMC by-laws strictly prohibit construction over and above the permissible limit. Here, a building tenant has been forced to demolish a part of their illegal construction, to conform to NDMC construction rules in Lutyens' Delhi border in Delhi.
