In a grassland outside Bangalore city in Karnataka, we sighted the Long - banded Silverline, Common Castor and the Tiny Grass Blue, all relatively common butterflies of South India's green spaces. The delicate wing streamers of the Long-banded Silverline stand out in contrast to the solidness of the brown-ish Castor while the delicate Grass Blue seems like it could be blown around in the slightest breeze.
