Decades after the Anti-Sikh Riots in New Delhi, politician Sajjan Kumar is convicted in the 1984 Sikh Riot Case and sentenced to life in prison by the Delhi High Court in 2018. After the verdict lawyers from the Sikh Community speak to the press outside the Delhi High Court. Some of them seem content with the verdict while some demand the hanging of the convicts. Sikh community members who were affected by the riots directly, eye witness to the grim events at the Delhi Cantonment speak their minds and relive the dreadful events. The Anti-Sikh Riot 1984 occurred after the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her two Sikh bodyguards. It may also be remembered that the Mrs Gandhi had ordered the commencement of 'Operation Bluestar' inside the Harmandir Sahib Complex to flush
