The Kali Mandir in CR Park wears a large veneer of orange and yellow festive cheer, as the Covid weary Bengali residents of Chittaranjan Park in Delhi finally get a chance to venture out and enjoy their Durga Puja season, having been locked up since March 2020. They wear their best masks and line up for entry to Puja pandal tent where the Dhak beats welcome them to the hall which is also redolent with the ghanti from the prayers.
