Maida is mixed with water and kneaded, for starters. The dough ball is kneaded and then rolled with a belan on the metal surface of the table-top, and then placed with some oil onto the tava or heated surface of the stove-burner plate. The way a Bangladeshi parantha is made is that that different from the Indian style. It just has a slightly different flavour, and a different texture too.
