Looking down on a clear post rainy monsoon day from Jabbarkhet, one can see beyond the Shivaliks, and across the Doon valley. The hills of Rajaji National Park are clearly visible. Closer at hand are St. George's School, Wynberg Allen School, and the Hanifl Center at Woodstock School in Landour, Mussoorie, an Environmental Studies center. The colours are sharp and bright, as the rains have cleared all the dust and haze from the air, in the lower atmosphere. Tits and Rufous Sibias call across the valley, as seen from the wildfilmsindia estate at Jabbarkhet. White-throated Laughing Thrushes add their cacophony, while Jaonli and the Gangotri wall of peaks are clearly visible to the north...
